A Turkish flagged ship and a Greek flagged ship have to be delivered to Israel in International waters and their crew shot because the IDF demand it?

Terrorism of ISRAEL? No, terrorism of the fools aboard this flotilla. They were warned repeatedly to turn back. When the IDF boarded, they chose to attack violently. What army of any country, under these circumstances, would back down and flee? These posturing fools got what they deserved. Good for Israel.

The attack was in the international waters. Israel have no right to stop any ship. They are breaking the international rules. what they did is crime against the humanity. They will soon pay for it.

Since when has aid to a beleagured war torn country been and act of terrorism. The flotilla was attacked whilst in International Waters. The Israeli's have behaved no better than Somalian pirates. Shame on Israel and all the supporters of this inhumane action..

Fig, if you reread Me Ed's statement, you will see it is as much about Muslim victims as it is about Muslim terrorists.

Mr EWd is doing nothing else than clouding the issue here. The issue at hand is the action of the upstart Israelis against humanitarian aid and nothing else. Who gave them the right to police the International waters? The force of might? One day they will meet their match.

Israeli forces have attacked a flotilla of aid-carrying ships aiming to break the country's siege on Gaza.Up to 16 people were killed and dozens injured when troops stormed the Freedom Flotilla early on Monday, the Israeli Army Radio said.The flotilla was attacked in international waters, 65km off the Gaza coast.Footage from the flotilla's lead vessel, the Mavi Marmara, showed armed Israeli soldiers boarding the ship and helicopters flying overhead.Al Jazeera's Jamal Elshayyal, on board the Mavi Marmara, said Israeli troops had used live ammunition during the operation.The Israeli Army Radio said soldiers opened fire "after confronting those on board carrying sharp objects".Free Gaza Movement, the organisers of the flotilla, however, said the troops opened fire as soon as they stormed the ships.Israeli military also reports that four soldiers were injured and taken to hospital.They also said the ships were now being towed to the Israeli town of Haifa, instead of Ashdod to avoid waiting journalists.Earlier, the Israeli navy had contacted the captain of the Mavi Marmara, asking him to identify himself and say where the ship was headed.

CYPRIOT authorities prevented pro-Palestinian activists, including 30 MPs from nine European countries, from leaving the island yesterday to join a flotilla in international waters, which is on its way to blockaded Gaza.

More than 10 people have been killed after Israeli commandos stormed a convoy of ships carrying aid to the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army says. Israel says its forces were attacked by activists when they got on board. "The people on the boats were very, very violent toward the soldiers," Israeli military spokeswoman Lt Col Avital Leibovich was quoted as saying by AFP news agency.

Turkey's foreign ministry warned that the raid on the flotilla, which included Turkish vessels, may lead to "irreparable consequences" in bilateral ties. "We strongly condemn these inhumane practices of Israel," a written statement said. "This deplorable incident, which took place in open seas and constitutes a fragrant breach of international law, may lead to irreparable consequences in our bilateral relations," it said.

Greta Berlin, a spokeswoman for the Free Gaza Movement which organised the convoy said she was told of 10 dead by an Israeli lawyer for the group but had had no contact with the ships. "How could the Israeli military attack civilians like this?" she said. "Do they think that because they can attack Palestinians indiscriminately they can attack anyone?” "We have two other boats. This is not going to stop us."

It was a matter of self-defense. What should they do, permit the violent crew members to stab and bash them? Soldiers were wounded seriously as well. These bleeding-heart attention whores should turn to a better cause than the pest hole of Gaza, festering due to their elected terrorist government. Darfur, for instance.

There was an election and that is called democracy whether you like it or not. But then what would Israel know about democracy.

There is a blockade on Gaza. The foreign boats were attempting to break it, and thus international law. They knew very well they would be intercepted and were formally warned. When intercepted, they attacked. Fools.

Blockade my backside. Starvation and intimidation more likely. Thats how they have reduced the number of Palestinians living in the occupied territories of Palestine. Even peaceful Christian Palestinians are driven out of 'Israel' by these repetitious intimidations.
