If you are asking me Greece is way too friendly toward Turkey lately.

I'm quite aware of why greece supported PKK, what I don't claim is that Turkey is one of the most peaceful countries. Pretty soon Greece will be on the list that is part of the international conspiracy against RoC. Maybe Greece and Turkey are behaving like adults nowadays when Papadopoulos and Denktas still show they have a lot to learn when it comes to how to talk to your neighbours.

You know what? There was a poll in Turkey and according to that poll 70% of Turks expected war with Greece. Is that how peace-loving you are? Turker your opinions sadly do not reflect the Turkish public opinion.

Maybe, but its reason is that you supported PKK, the most brutal terrorist organization that Turkey has been fighting over 20 years and which killed thousands of people. And maybe another reason is that you invaded Izmir and killed lots of innocent people in contrast with the other allied states. And then You sent troops several times to Cyprus and killed T/C. You didn't protect the 1960 constitituon, you ruined that!

You cant support those actions.

But now our people is realizing that we should forget all the hatred and live peacefully in the region.

If you want to go back, then maybe I should remind you that you also invaded Smirni. It was not always yours you know. Greeks founded that city (and many many more).

That's the main problem.

We and you are in some respects, guilty. We shouldn't have invaded Istanbul for example. But, that i want to explain is that we should forget the past and our community is taking good steps for that.

Don't undermine any peace movement between comunities please.

Yes, we should leave the past behind and start a new good relationship, I agree 100% with that.
But the occupation of Cyprus is not something of the past, is something of today.
The biggest step for a good relationship is if Turkey stops the occupation of Cyprus. Otherwise you can't ask for friendship while at the same time you occupy our land.

Unfortunately, you rejected the solution which would make Turkey withdraw her troops from Cyprus and keep it in the number of 650 number which is allowed in Treaty of Guarantee. And this solution was accepted to be balanced and the best one ever proposed, the opposite of which is stated to be "Unsolvement" by the INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY.

While we were reluctant to some of provisions, We accepted everything in the plan with a Huge YES vote both from TRNC community (including the settlers) and Government of Turkey, even from the army!

So, you have no right to say turks that wish...

You legalized the invasion with your "NO" votes to an internationally accepted plan.

This is your freedom, we can't intervene, but freedom requires taking on its responsibility, and the situation is in your responsibility now not us.

Another note: If Turkey withdraws all her soldiers without any agreement of a plan, I'm almost sure that you won't accept any plan except for current constitution, not a federal one or that protects right of Turks.

I dont support keeping troops there but it is our priority until an agreement.

the invasion was illegal and there is NOTHING that can legalize it.

The plan was just a plan, nothing more than that. It was not even a UN resolution.

Yes, it was not an UN resolution but it was accepted by the International Community. Is this not enough?
