From a GC perspective what you're saying is correct, the only way you'll get want you want is via brute force. The only problem is that the average GC doesn't want to risk their current position for the desirable.

Ever thought of the consequences of failure?

Failure is the status quo and the treasonous negotiation of the Turkification of Cyprus that is currently going on!

An operation to liberate Cyprus would shake the very foundations of Europe and reshuffle the geopolitical region. It would drag Greece and others into the debacle and Turkey would never recover politically from it for decades.

Buildings and casualties can be easily replenished in 10 or 15 years.

Just give Omer Seyhan a few years on this Forum with the likes of Oracle,GR, B25,Paphidis,Malapapa,Sotos,Yialousa,Epsilon,growuptcs,Kurupetos,and last but not least the Bash partitionist and Chief fanatical GC propogandist, and he too will realise it is one thing to be a romantic idealist, and another to be a grounded realist...

But that is not to say I do not applaud his idealism and empathy and compassion for all Cypriots...Maybe his skin is tougher than mine, and he will come out smiling no matter what names he is called, and how many times he is told he is a thief and an Ottoman remnant with barbarian tendencies... :)

Will he address the real issues and risk coming under fire? doubt it.

Good to know that for you buildings and human lives are of equal value...

Have you asked the parents of those to be killed in your little war if they agree with your assessment that their sons and daughters could be replenished in 10 or 15 years...????

You are one pathetic son of a donkey...

Yeah, as the TAF rolls to the south coast and the EU/NATO watch and do nothing. How many GC casualties and buildings do you want to replace?

Are you mad there isn't a military option that does not mean a victory for Turkey!
