The same can be said about Piratis. But what gets me is that if it were Piratis who left, there wouldn't be so many calling for his return.

Can I answer, please can I answer?

See what I mean GR! Imbecilic exhibit A.

I guess democracy and free speach does not apply to all equally.

Never mind your smarmy remarks, you and a lot of others should be shaking piratis hand for doing us all a favour. He keeps reminding the Turks of their resposibilities but they don't want to hear it. seems some GCs don't want it either. If we had more like Piratis we would be in a better position, not about to be bent over.

Jerry, I expected better from you.

It's got nothing to do with democracy and free speech. I would say that one of the contributors in question is a fanatical racist who refuses to see the middle ground, the other has more moderate and intelligent views.

Tim landed with his gear up and made a fool of himself.

He should apologise or forever remain silent.

I don’t know Paphiti… Tim gets a little agro for once in years and all of a sudden he’s got 7 enemies!

The same goes for Piratis… he went a bit overboard after 5 years on the forum and people want to ban him!

I guess it doesn’t pay to be too polite!

What a brill idea   why did I not think of that. Come-on Pee, ban yourself.

The middle ground? Give us a break Jerry.

We have always held the middle ground. It isn't reciprocal I'm afraid.

More like Piratis, then Cyprus would then really be Turkish. And where do you think that would lead to. You'd all lose your foreskins in 1974.

I fail to see how Piratis's reminding the Turks (do you mean Turks or Turkish Cypriots?) of their responsibilities adds to the debate.

I hate and despise what Turkey and TC fascists like Denktash have done to Cyprus but constantly reminding Turkish Cypriots that they are to blame for the Cyprus Problem, whatever your views, gets us nowhere. Both sides should accept equal responsibility for the CP and look to the future. Britain, the US, Greece and Turkey are as much to blame (some would say more so) as the Cypriots, perhaps they should receive the wrath of CF fanatics in equal measure.

I'm very surprised how you presented the comparison with a twist. The people that resent Piratis' contributions, are the ones who are still trying to reinvent the wheel.
