Agree with both those sentiments. This sort of thread is extremely 'cringeworthy'.

Even if it was posted with the best of intentions, it should have been obvious it would attract nasty comments as well as encouraging ones.

There's only one way to improve this thread.

Why don't you announce you will depart from the forum as a 'personal sacrifice' to encourage Tim to come back

With the possible exception of One,I cannot think of any TC or AC (Anglo Cypriot) who would say NO to Tim's return.

So this thread has proven two things (at least) :

1- The GCs in general cannot stand to hear even the objective arguments/points about Cyprob...
