That's the beauty of true democracy. There may be a troublesome and unwelcome minority trying to upset proceedings, but the will of the overwhelming majority will win through in the end.

As long as you treat those two losers justly, there is no problem.

Tim if you are reading this:

I hope you will once remember that I once said before I knew nothing about you that you were a balanced poster, you tell both gcs and tc when they are being dick heads. Trust me we need this, please do not let the right wing nationalist drive you from this forum because that is exactly what they want, they do not want balanced opinions so they are happy that you are gone, don't let them win please, cme back to us.

You said it, DTA (and by nationalists I'm sure you mean of the foreign variety, rather than true Cypriot nationalists who are the salt of the earth).

The most you might expect from one who doesn't care much for Tim's views is ambivalence, ie. abstention.

But to actively take the trouble to vote for a decent, inoffensive and knowledgeable contributor NOT to return is warped. And even more reason for Tim to bite the bullet and show such inadequates that he's made of far sterner stuff.

The differences in the Cypriot Greek dialect from other Greek dialects is not due to the mixing with Turkish. Mainland Greece and most other Greek islands have been under Ottoman rule for longer than Cyprus did. They also adopted several Turkish words in the same way that Turkish language took several Greeks words.
