Tell us, once again Piratis, what is the one and only way to liberate our island? Perhaps you can once again reveal to the aggressor that anything we engage in at the moment is just a smokescreen to gain time until the balance of power changes and we strike hard at the enemy. In the meantime, if the aggressor takes heed of your revelations, should we anticipate a preemptive attack? Or, are the stupid Turks not capable of understanding such advance intelligence?
Piratis, you are a joke!
You are the joke mate. You think that Cyprus can be liberated with negotiations under the current balance of power? When was the last time in history that such thing happened?
Never.
On the other hand the balance of power
does change. Alliances shift, interests change.
A "preemptive " attack will have no benefit for the Turks. It will only awaken the Cypriot people and make them more willing to fight when the times comes. As I said Cyprus will not be liberated with a one-on-one war against Turkey. Cyprus will never be more powerful than Turkey. In the same way the Greeks were never more powerful than the whole Ottoman empire, and the Latvians were never more powerful than the Russians (just a few examples of the many). What changes is the balance of power in the international arena, so a "preemptive" attack of the Turks will have no effect whatsoever.
As I said this is the
only way for Cyprus to be liberated. It is not going to happen tomorrow and it might take a lot of time. The important thing is for us to be ready when that time comes and to concentrate our efforts on helping such thing to happen faster. (e.g. by blocking Turkey from EU and secretly financing the PKK)
If you have an alternative that will liberate Cyprus faster then please tell me. So far the only thing that you propose is even worst than what we have now: An official territorial division of our island in Greek and Turkish parts (i.e. partition), abolishing democracy and giving Turkey the power to control the
whole of Cyprus through her well known puppets on the island.
