How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Jerry how many times do we have to say it to get through. Turkey did not want Eroglu. TCs as they stand will decide. Heed his advice well, in 10 years you will have majority TCs and the GC will begin to leave the island instead.

Mark his words.

You appear to contradict yourself here Fred. Will "the TCs as they stand" breed like rabbits in the next ten years or will they invite hundreds of thousands of mainlanders to the island and thereby commit ethnic suicide? Regardless of whether or not Turkey wanted Eroglu do you honestly think he is in control of the north?

There is no contradiction Jerry, it is our desciption of TCs that are diferent. Unlike you exclusionists who insits that a person can live and work and pay tax in the roc for over a decade can never become Cypriot. I have no racism in me, all people where ever they came from once qualified as a citizen become TC. Hence the numbers. It's called humanism. We all have to live in this tiny world of ours. Borders are for opression and protection, now there is a true contridiction. I wonder if you can work that one out by yourself. Where is Bill when you need him.

Ah, so we can go where we like and live where we want to regardless. Well it seems like you have sorted the Cyprus Problem in a couple of sentences Fred. I'm going to holiday in my house in Bogazi this summer, I really don't mind sharing it with the person who claims it as his, am I now a humanist?

PS what should I do if the occupier objects to my moving in, would you come and talk to him for me?

Sure I will jerry, for you and bill you know I would help.

But did you understand "Borders are for opression and protection, now there is a true contridiction." bit of the post. Casue I don't believe you did.

Try again please.

For those who listened to the clips, did anybody spot the comment about Eroglu accepting to continue the negotiations from Talat as foundations but having to underpin them in these negotiation. Now there’s forked tongue I f ever saw one. I have a feeling this man is pretending and has no intention of negotiating with full support of the Turkish deep state. Erdogan is not out of the woods yet. It will not be clear till after the next elections in Turkey.

Posting that many pages on someone most of us know nothing about is overkill... so I ended up reading none…

A single video clip with a single little paragraph that is relevant to your thread title would suffice!

I didn't read any of it myself, was hoping for a quick summary, but I think the title says everything.
Yup, The clowns up north are 'threatening' us again.
Quick you guys, lets do their bidding, they're apt to throw a bitch fit, hell, now we wouldn't want that now would we??

It was pointed out above that the title of thread was a misnomer. You should have read it and make up your own mind.

...actually, come to think of it, it is a very accurate headline.

Turkey truly threatens all Cyprus, and all Cypriots.

I agree but you see there are still so many Turkish speaking Cypriots that cannot see the Cyprus under their feet. They think they are Turkish living in Turkey. Meanwhile, their 'motherland' sees the land these fraudulent Turks are sitting on as a air craft carrier but these confused Cypriots think they are there out of love for them. Manamular....

Götünün iç lastiği as we say in Cyprioturkish.
