You need to figure out how the TCs are going to pay the GCs $50 Billion Dollars in compensation if the intend is to return very little land back to the GCs. That's is the difference in property value from the TCs land in the south and the GCs land in the north. The best way of course, is to return back as much as possible, so that the values cancel each other out, since the International community is not going to pay the $50 Billion for the north to keep present land size with all the GCs properties in the north, and NO, you cannot force the GCs live in the north state if they don't want to, so not to compensate them, but keep their
land i the north instead.

we said we were not going to refer to each other, but since you called me a pervert recently I think that we are not honoring that, it's cool though. I will let that go. Just this once

So where does the 50 billion figure come from considering that the land left by the tcs is worth at least twice what the gc left

The land value in the south has increased because of the invasion ,,,all compensation should be based on a 1974 "comparison" ..not current value because somebody else have made the area attractive.........

By that token the land split should be done on 1960 levels including void land including land that was iligally stolen (like the whole of mousa) from the valid foundation do you agree?

There are two facets to the land issue- a) the properties issue affecting individual ownership and b) the extent of each constituent state's territory. The two are interlinked but there are also areas which do not affect private ownership so much but which are vital, factors like the length and shape of the demarcation line, the proportion of coast line, the position and borders of the British base areas.

It is my view that it would be BIG mistake to allow the British base area of Dhekelia to border the TC area and thus cut the GC area into two distinct pieces.

It would also be an equally BIG mistake not to clarify from the start, that the TC state takes up a percentage of the ISLAND, not the RoC, and also clarify that the British bases lie on GC state territory and when they leave they will revert to GC control. This would limit the ability of the British to cause problems in the future, we would all know from the start that they will be dealing with one landlord, and they will not be co-owners of Cyprus.

Do not underestimate the ability of the British to cause problems, they specialise in that kind of bullshit.

Yes indeed, wait 36 years then get the corrupted ECHR to solve the property issue in one swoop. Job done propblem solved now we can force the GCs into a corner and make them agree ANY settlement we like.

Seems like Malas posting on the other thread were not far fetched after all. I see a lot of very unhappy people, regardless of the GC turn TC friend Banana comments.

We should "pay the price", because we chose to wait so long!

Now there is a confession. You now accept that you delayed the peace process deliberately. Well keep on delaying it to beyond the end of this year and you'll get all you need.

So can we add both UN and ECHR to the corrupt list? Mal make notes, new campaigns are need, get your finger out, there will be no slacking and that's an order.
