...talk about assumptions A, the issue has nothing to do with "Greeks or Turks", our problem is this generalisation, which leaves theives and plunderers free to roam as an ilk amongst us. these oligarchies may have seperate agendas, but they have the same purpose. quite rightly though, the Cypriot Government has not done enough to demonstrate a will which moves us beyond a proxy war these interlocutors fight.
so, at the root, or on the ground...
...Greek Cypriots fail themselves, and more importantly they fail Cyprus if they do not actively seek out other Cypriots for change. buying from a Turkish Cypriot you know and respect, if you are a Greek Cypriot does much more to advance an end to our Problem, than thirty years of isolation from each other. in the world of social-engineering an effort was made to change our behaviour (but now the gates have been opened) which fails if we have attributes as Human which are greater than Mankind's plundering ways before this Modern Age.
...Turkish Cypriots must do the same.
