Germany won

Greece did well, Cyprus came 21st and UK again came last at 25th

http://www.eurovision.tv/page/news?id=1 ... LL+RESULTS!

Did,nt like the winning song much or Greeces/Turkeys, and although the voting system has been changed to stop the political bloc style voting people still voted for their immediate nieghbours   Greece 12, Cyprus 12 etc etc. Far too many sang in English which takes away the spirit of the contest. Shame, but its a farce now anyway. That comment is not because the UK came last as their songs have been rubbish for ages, Cyprus,s entry should have got it more points, it was ok imo.

Most songs are for a single use only, isn't it so kafenes? And, while living in England, I remember no body made any fuss about this competition. Not even the media.

It stopped about 20 years ago, and all of a sudden it got resurected again. How appropriate though that Stock and Waterman who are two characters who killed music in the uk, that their song should come last. Now that is justice in a very small way.

Their star is definitely on the wane. When Kylie was at her 'height' of fame m son was their sound engineer at PWL. All changed when he left.

Trains and Exocets blew their brain cell up.

I think that Turkey had one of the best songs but over did it with the strobe lights and the stripping power ranger...

Greece did seem a little camp.

Britain was terrible.

Cyprus did terrible because nobody likes it when the welsh sing.

Germany sounded like Bjorg and won using their brainwashing techniques

Spain failed when that guy ran onto the stage

and the french song is now stuck in my head

In a nutshell, Eurovision is one of the greatest things on earth... when you've drunk to much!

Sort of 'Village People in flowing white Ali Baba Suits'

They look slightly more butch here:

Strongly agree after watching it for the first time - reading the commentaries of GR and Malapapa and sat with a bottle of brandy!
