Just imagine if 'enosis' had taken place....
We would've been buried alive under a mountain of debt.
Probably get the short end of the stick because we're 'Cypriot' on top of it.

Cyprus' entry will be performed by Welsh singer Jon Lilygreen.

And sung in English.

Apparently, the rules state that only songwriters who have Cypriot origin or who have resided in the island for at least two years could take part. But the winning performer Jon Lilygreen is British, living in Newport. So I guess the 'writers' have some drop of Cypriot blood in them?

Just been watching him on TV. At least he was singing in front of a huge CYPRIOT flag - not a Greek one in sight.

Couldn't Cyprus find one Cypriot singer on the whole of the island to represent them?

in which language?

I did not make any comment on the song, just the voting. It is a good song, but for a Eurovision entry, I wish all songs are representative of their country of origin. Perhaps I am old fashion!! But it makes the Eurovision contest pointless. IMHO.
