Do you remember Paphitis thread about the repair of the grave of a young TC lady (Aydin Hasan - RIP). It was her sisters house.

These are the houses nearest the Fort.
I think the one you refer to is between these and the one with the net maker outside. They have steps up to the door (some with a tiny verandah).

ALL of those are kept in good repair and decoration and all lived in.

Deniz - I am down there most days and going down tomorrow to my favourite new cafe, the Kybele as I have a meeting there at 9.30. I will try to remember to take my camera and snap them for you.

Meantime I will PM you with a link to my 'A walk around my block' album - it is almost all photos of the old Turkish quarter from where I live, down past the Fort to the start of Finicoudes, round past the old Mosque next to the Fort and back again along the road behind the waterfront.
