Yes Deniz. I live right on the edge of the old Turkish quarter by the waterfront between Finicoudes and Makenzy beaches.

In the first 'new' building there. I feel it must have been built on TC land myself as there is TC land and buildings all around it.

I will post some photos soon of the old TC properties in my road.

Thankyou Gasman. I passed there last year. I did not recognise Mackenzie beach. Now it is full of eateries and hotels etc. Time flies towns grow, nature disappears. I suppose it is progress(not getting political here).

My cousin had a house near the old fort on the road by the sea. It was a lovely house, introvert as is usual of Turkish town houses with inner gardens uaually with palm and pomegranate trees with Jasmine.

One of those very houses Deniz

I like to think that no one would object much to their house being used by someone like this - if the alternative was for it to fall into the state of disrepair that you will see in some other pics I will ferret out for you of houses in the same locality.

This picture was taken last year. This house has now more or less 'fallen down' during the bad winter weather. One side has gone. It is more or less in the road directly behind the one above on the waterfront.

How poignant I always think that the old Morris Minor has sat there all these years too.

Thats right. The house in question had two steps at the front door. Not unlike the one in the distant, but a wee bit further towards the fort.

Nice woof woof.

It's a VERY nice dog. And so good - lives right next door to Chris's cafe and Takeaway Kebab shop and NEVER strays from his owner to go begging for bits.

Never runs out in the road either - which is just as well as that is all (supposed to be) one way. But after dark the Cyp drivers use it both ways. And there are usually cars parked both sides all the way down it too!

There is equal chance that the old Morris Minor was owned by a GC refugee from the north. God knows.
