There is a belief amongst those that know no better, that Jewish people are either mean or just plain dishonest when it comes to financial dealings. The reality is that Jewish people tend to be very good at business - and this causes resentment.

I think "mean" is a bit of an understatement: didn't they kill that nice bloke from Nazareth?
