LEADERS TO MEET AT DINNER

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

LEADERS TO MEET AT DINNER

Postby halil » Sat May 22, 2010 9:53 pm

Dervis Eroglu and Demetris Christofias are going to meet at a dinner on the 25th of May- just a day before the re-launch of peace talks. The United Nations has invited the two leaders for a dinner in the buffer zone which will also be attended by the first ladies.

The dinner is going to take place at the Cheatue Status Restaurant in the UN-controlled buffer zone on Tuesday night.

Eroglu told the press today that the invitation was made by the UN Secretary-General’s Special Adviser on Cyprus Alexander Downer.

Eroglu reminded that an earlier invitation he extended to Christofias for a dinner at his home was rejected by the Greek Cypriot Leader.

Eroğlu and Greek Cypriot Leader Christofias will meet next Wednesday to resume the Cyprus negotiation process which was given a break because of the TRNC Presidential elections.

It's common knowledge that Meral Eroglu's a lousy cook.

Last time she tossed a pancake it splattered all over her new curtains...

Didn't you know? The Eroglus are crypto-CNP members, but we've asked Meral not to make us any flaounes for when we go into battle...

It's Dervish's attempt to cement the partition. Meral calls it squeezing out the 'hero-glue'.
