Dervis Eroglu and Demetris Christofias are going to meet at a dinner on the 25th of May- just a day before the re-launch of peace talks. The United Nations has invited the two leaders for a dinner in the buffer zone which will also be attended by the first ladies.
The dinner is going to take place at the Cheatue Status Restaurant in the UN-controlled buffer zone on Tuesday night.
Eroglu told the press today that the invitation was made by the UN Secretary-General’s Special Adviser on Cyprus Alexander Downer.
Eroglu reminded that an earlier invitation he extended to Christofias for a dinner at his home was rejected by the Greek Cypriot Leader.
Eroğlu and Greek Cypriot Leader Christofias will meet next Wednesday to resume the Cyprus negotiation process which was given a break because of the TRNC Presidential elections.
