I hate to say this, but...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I remember my daughter commenting one time (in the UK) on the cost of my check up and clean at the dentist (it was about twenty five quid), her saying it was quite expensive.

I replied 'not when you consider that I paid SEVENTY QUID to get the cat's teeth cleaned because the vet said she had tartar on them! And nigh on 250 for the dog to have two removed when it got an abscess and had to stay in overnight!' It's a bargain compared with dental work on pets.

I have just been to the vet to have my 'Marmalade' put to sleep.
Sedation
Lethal Injection
Cremation
'disposal of ashes' = £59.99

I just keyed in the PIN through my tears and what is money when yo love your pet as you love a child. The expenses ; you dont think about. Only three left.

Come to think of it, I thought what I paid was fair.

Can your vet offer us a discount for Gay-Fred?

The answer is yes. ....but the discounts are for groups of ten.

Apart from Yfred, who else would you add (from the CF) for treatment from the lovely South African vet?

That just about leaves space for Puffidobullo to take up the rest.
That's 9 trearments,
1. Remove his balls if he has any
2. Remove his last remaing brain cell - no longer needed
3. ....
9. Cremation.

[quote="kafenes
Well all I can say is I wish you have the worst holiday you'll ever have in you life. :)[/quote]

Well, I'm back in grey, wet, dull & cold England...so sorry to disappoint you kafenes but how could I possibly have the worst holiday of my life visiting Cyprus? (tongue firmly planted in cheek)...

It was the second best holiday I have ever had, the best was when I visited Cyprus the first time! Yes I did spend a couple of Euros in the south, glad you could go to the hole in the wall after that

But seriously guys, I know I'm asking for trouble getting involved in Cyprus politics, after speaking to quite a few Greek & Turkish Cypriots the general consensus seems to be that both sides want to re-unite but all Cypriots have a deep mistrust of the politicians - but don't we all know that all polititians tell lies everywhere in the world? Not only in Cyprus.

I sincerely wish all you Cypriots the best, Cyprus is really a paradise & I will be returning again next year but staying in the south as I want to visit the Trudos Mountains....I received such a warm welcome from both the Greek & Turkish Cypriots during my stay in your country, thank you so much - Cyprus is a wonderful country thanks to it's wonderful people, I only wish people here in England were so nice as the Cypriots!

I just spent quite some time reading through this thread, which I didn't bother before.....as I stated before, when I made my first post I was drunk, I am really sincerely sorry to anyone that I offended - I love Cyprus & I love all Cypriots, all Cypriots that I met in Cyprus were so nice to me I feel really bad that I have offended some of you, I feel really bad now.

I know your country relies on tourism for income, I will do my best to spread the word to everyone here to visit Cyprus - they will not be disappointed! I will be there again next year....once again I'm sorry
