I hate to say this, but...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

lol Kafenes! Don't beat about the bush man - say what you really think!

Phew, such a relief that rastan and his mob will be spending a fraction of their pocket money over here now after all.

I've been awake nights since he first posted worried to death about the RoC economy if he carried out his threat.

I now won't have to bank an extra fifty euro this week to redress the balance of his going elsewhere.

In fact, I've celebrated by going to the hole in the wall and drawing some out!

*Seem to go there a lot since getting this new pup! Gawd - where vets are concerned, your pets need their own Visa Gold cards!

Kafenes - they exist but have so many get out clauses (just like those for people do) I never use them.

I remember my daughter commenting one time (in the UK) on the cost of my check up and clean at the dentist (it was about twenty five quid), her saying it was quite expensive.

I replied 'not when you consider that I paid SEVENTY QUID to get the cat's teeth cleaned because the vet said she had tartar on them! And nigh on 250 for the dog to have two removed when it got an abscess and had to stay in overnight!' It's a bargain compared with dental work on pets.

I have just been to the vet to have my 'Marmalade' put to sleep.
Sedation
Lethal Injection
Cremation
'disposal of ashes' = £59.99

I just keyed in the PIN through my tears and what is money when yo love your pet as you love a child. The expenses ; you dont think about. Only three left.

Come to think of it, I thought what I paid was fair.

Sorry to hear of your loss,Deniz...People often care more for their pets than people they don't know...It is only human...But it makes you think, spending all this money on pets when there are millions of children starving in the world..Yet,if you gave that money to charity how much of it would get to those truly in need??? It is a cruel and depressing world alright! :( :(
