I know but we can only try cant we, how are things with you? and it is important that those reading this thread see a balanced and true representation of what happened in cyprus.

Perhaps we should start threads called:

1) "after cyprus became independent for the first time in its history, who ruined it"

2) "after cyprus became independent for the first time in its history, still wanted to join it to another nation state"

3) "after cyprus became independent for the first time in its history, who started the violence"

4) "after cyprus became independent for the first time in its history, who broke the constitution"

etc etc etc

How many other Presidents are there in the world who win an election and immediately set about to destroy the country. In my book it’s is called treason. They should have been given a fair trial and then hung.

Why would making it a fair and democratic constitution amount to "set about to destroy the country"? Who did the country suit as it was?

So you want to erase your crimes of the 50s and pretend that nothing happened and move to the 60s?

Funny how you always claim that the Cyprus problem didn't start in 74, but when you are shown that the problem didn't start in 63 either you insist on erasing the parts of history that do not suit your propaganda.

The Cyprus problem as it exists today started in 1974 with the illegal invasion and occupation of Cyprus by Turkey.

The inter-communal conflict was started by the TCs in the 50s.

The conflict between Greeks and Turks in Cyprus in general, was started by the Turks in 1570.

1960 is the only time Cyprus had independence, it was an opportunity to start a fresh and build a Cypriot nation thats why TCs try not to look back further than this date as it s not clear who started the troubles your myths are exactly that myths, who fucked up after 1960?

You fucked up after 1960 in the same way you fucked up before 1960: Trying to impose your will on the majority of the Cypriot people.

What we wanted was to fix the mess you created for centuries and make Cyprus a normal democratic country.

Erhm, my friend, I am only replying to your repetitive rhetoric because, quite frankly, nobody else here cares what you have to say.

I just wanted to say that Cyprus IS a normal democratic State AND nobody is forcing YOU to stay in the Republic of Cyprus.
