What an interesting dinner party guest list ... Could I be invited too, please? :D

Absolutely, and with open arms !, providing you didn't open up on the Turks  (at least until everyone has had their fill and are sitting comfortably)

How rude of me! I didn't even consider that some may be harbouring "Turkish" roots! Of course, as always, I will be minding my "P"s and "Q"s in company! :D

Perhaps you could undertake the responsibility of ensuring that all the silverware and crystal glasses are accounted for at the end of the evening.

Since Kings, a Knight, a Queen, a Holy man and a Statesman together with many other lesser mortals would be attending such an engagement, it would appear disrespectful not to lay the tables with the finest wares, the possibility arises that one or two Turks might wangle their way in, better to be on the safe side don't you think ?.

Please do consider me as the UN equivalent for the inventories ... extra vigilance so that we do not leave the family silver unguarded, again!

Who invited the Turks, anyway? :?

Did they crash the party?

Not sure about how they got in, I think one of them was disguised as a shepherd and the other two as sheep, don't worry though, they won't pull the wool over our eyes the second time.
