and if the talks are not BBF, these talks will end without a timetable.

but it does not mean that Turkey's ambitions will be completely satisfied, their 'fait accompli' being based on an illegal occupation, and their efforts to leave "Greeks" and "Turks" isolated from each other, are anathema to Basic Human Rights.

Basic Human Rights is not good enough for our patriots here RW, we are only interetsed in True Human Hights or none, no matter how much it costs the TCs. We are prepared for them to pay what ever price it takes, even total anhialation. It's a price worth paying, is it not? Ask any patriot on the forum.

What is it then? Gin, vodka or scotch? :?

None of them. It is love.

love indeed, for Cyprus. whether your origins are "Greek" or "Turk", it should not matter when it comes to the Governance we seek for the island as a whole. actually it should be without this bias, if we want to defend ourselves from the extremists who do not have the Grace to be Human, and who feel that our lives as Individuals are to be dismissed, second to the identity we have as Persons.

Asked about a possible timetable for the negotiations in Cyprus, which are set to resume soon, or whether determining such a timetable would facilitate achieving a solution, Ban said that although they had not determined any such target date, this did not mean the talks would continue forever. He said they should definitely have some expectations that the parties could accept a bi-communal, bi-zonal unification based on political equality at a definite time.

There,Ban Ki-Moon is telling us even he cannot wait forever...
Do you think he is right? Could the parties accept a bi-communal,bi-zonal unification based on political equality???

Ban was also quoted as saying that negotiations should be accelerated to find a solution to end the ‘isolation’ of the Turkish Cypriots.

Another take on the same story....

And this story is specially for ORACLE:

Erdogan was awarded with the title of honorary doctorate by the European University of Madrid for his contributions to the Alliance of Civilizations and to friendly and peaceful relations among nations.

And some more food for thought :

In minute detail, Cemal chronicles a day-by-day account of a tug-of-war between Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Abdullah Gül on one side and Rauf Denktaş and the generals in Ankara on the other.
Without a careful reading of that chapter of recent Turkish history, one is not able to understand the essence of civilian-military relations here, nor is it possible for EU politicians to realize how unfairly they have treated Turkish Cypriots all along. I will leave it at that.
