Walmart is the largest retailer in the world and own chains of stores in several countries, sometimes under other brand names.

Those toys were really racist. Nothing compared to the black barbie dolls.

Walmart was on the hot seat re: black/white barbies. CNN aired it with mixed results. A huge blunder by Walmart, to say the least.

Walmart executives tried to explain the unexplainable... personally I believe Walmart had no intentions of racism, just doing business as usual. Quite common to find bargains in their stores while attempting to clear stock for new arrivals. Most likely, an employee switched the prices without realizing the trouble he was getting into.

The American consumer is sensitive to this issue, still "hovering" around the Masses... especially in rural areas of Alabama, where this particular store is located. Don't kid your self... there are, still, white trash out there, promoting their race as if the white is worth more than the black.

I've seen this several times while driving thru Kentucky & Tennessee... the hardheaded Yanks never learn.
