How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Tonight's homework for GR. Try to discuss Cyprob without mentioning mothers, sisters or arseholes.

What position did they have her in GR? Did they make you watch it? Is that why you are so bitter towards TCs?

Really? And where did you get the "official military policy" info from?

Up your mum's fat arse perhaps as per usual?

One of your ministers aounced it must stop. He himself was surprised that such a thing was going on.

Was the matter? Where have you been hibernating.

Utter rubbish! The T-shirt was being sold at a military kiosk among other Rambo-like products that do well with 20 year olds, but was NOT standard military issue.

So stop exposing your mum's fat arse!

That's alright Gasman. The only way he can erection is if he talks tough about the deceased. Unfortunately there is no cure for cunts like him. But rest asured that one day I will meet him in person and he will understand my displasure. It will touch his heart, because I will have nothing to do with his or his mothers ass.

You’ll either impress me with facts backed by credible evidence or risk hearing about your mom…

That’s fair and square as far as I’m concerned!

Assikdir lan Pushd pezzevenk spano. Talking about deceased woman like that just goes to show what you are. Which is the worst cunt on earth. One day you shall have a real one.

Anyone who propagates misinformation exposes his mother (dead or alive) who could’ve only given birth to such crap through her rear end!

See how the logic makes perfect sense? So be very careful what you post and make your mother proud!

Fuck off you cunt.

Every time you do your research and post facts you do her proud, but every time you post rubbish she rolls over in her grave…

It’s always up to you.

...what we do know is that "Enosis" and the Union Jack that was also provided are not there now, the red and white abomination seems to grow in the number of places it is displayed grotesquely, today.

...we are talking about these monstrosities generally aren't we; does it really matter what they allegedly promote?

...gasman, what's your problem, show the photos, make your opinion known, and remember that you choose, act accordingly.

...in this case, i think "Enosis" never existed except on photoshop somewhere; probably drawn up by a person in "Greek" mode wound up about a "Turk" (not unlike the Union Jack that was on a mountainside, we saw...). we can surmise that Greeks took those rocks down, if they existed, obviously something sweet like turcophones taking "Enosis" down would have its place in their children's History books...

...you cannot ignore the singular demand of of people like GR, O, mr. B., kiks, and even mr.b a Cypriot, a "Greek", a Greek, and a Turk, there are Principals that are Universal, and that we must demonstrate together as one body, the rest is internal matters. Cyprus as a State must exist if "Greek", Greek, Turk and "Turk" are to sustain themselves here, hopefully sustaining Maronites and others as well.

....any division that tears the island in two is just lazy, and Ignorant. our fight is not amongst ourselves if we believe in Grace. frankly i don't care that i will write this over and over for years, but i will never give up my fight for Tolerance and a Cyprus that can celebrate without shame.

...think a Federal Government, and National Assemblies.

...think Bicommunal: Individual, Person; not "Greek", "Turk"

...think "one man one vote", think bicameral, then vote thricely (...you know my manifesto thingy)

...think the displaced, their humility, think enclaves (call them something else if you must) so that for some at least a return as communities.

...think those to be displaced, Settlers who merit their stay, homes instead of houses.

...think what Bizonal has to mean to us so that it has value to our Global partners.

...think a completely different demographic and how our Governance is able to adapt.

...remember, the population of Cyprus is 12 million (in about 200 years).

...blahblah blah, cheers!

are subsistence farmers, pretty much like our grandparents back in the 50s.
My grandparents were not not subsistence farmers. They made ₤ 2K a week some years in the 1960s from agriculture, even though it was their "second job". My grandfather's Turkish cypriot friends told us that his factory equipment was all shipped to Turkey. Mainland Turks not Turkish Cypriots benefited from the booty of war. Our tractors washing machine and even fridges and cool room equipment were shipped to Turkey by the military elite. The only equipment which was left was concreted in place. My grandfather had a more advanced car in 1974 than most of you drive today.I know for a fact the car stayed in Cyprus!

...witness the oil press in Komi Kebir, now a working "museum", the owner and his son "missing", the homes stripped, even the roots of the olive trees brought with them, the Army's elite, back to Turkey.

Re: North- where are all the people?

Nikitas wrote:I was idly scanning on the TV this afternoon and caught a CYBC broadcast on the villages of the north. Places I knew as a kid- Angastina, Mousoulita, Palekyhtro, Vitsada, and other villages on the old railway line.

The commentary indicated that these villages are mostly occupied by settlers. And as we often hear there are thousands of settlers in the north, often the figure is pushed by some commentators to a million. But all these villages were empty and a fair proportion of the houses seemed derelict.. So where are these people?

Regardless of the settlers, where are the main population centers of the north? Would it be right to say that the population gravitates to the main urban centers, Nicosia, Kyrenia, Famagusta, like people do all over the world?

I have been visiting my parents in the North for the past 30 years and not much changed until about 6 years ago, when all of a sudden buildings were going up left right and centre. I have seen Nicosia grow tremendously, Girne, Magusa and all along the coast. It seems like its out of hand with no planning, buildings, resorts just plonked anywhere. The small rural villages are still there but with very few people, and dilapidated buildings.

The last time I was there was four years ago, and I plan to be there this July and wonder what it will be like. The feeling I got back in 2006 was that the population had really swelled and the local TC's do not like it one bit. My father is very old now and in poor health, but he is not happy with the quality of the mainlanders that have settled in Cyprus. They are usually peasants, with very little education.

If you are going to post comments, please keep it civilized.
