How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Well she can never really follow the progression of an argument....

True. And is glaringly obvious that she stops posting when she has nothing to counter a sensible argument against her paranoid view.

Well ... that is, apart from the predictable 'fuck off retard' response.

Turkey has never defended its position based on people in the past expanding their territories

I accept your plea that there is no defence for Turkey's Expansionism. Good man!

Without going into empire building but the reason for action, could it not be an easy analogy to consider Turkey's move as necessary to halt the Greekification on Cyprus?

Cyprus was always Greek territory. There are no parallels to the Persian excursions that Turkey can latch onto, even two and a half thousand years later!

Oracle wrote:To top it all, the Turks manage to ignore Alexander's great speech about observing equality in Mankind.

Where was your comment on observing equality in Mankind- no one is taking apart Alexander - it is your hypocritical rants that are being taken apart.

Perhaps you should stop commenting on this subject - it's not really showing you in the best light.

Worried how ridiculous you sound?

Equality for Mankind will come when the Turks stop the Apartheid they have created, after ethnically cleansing half of Cyprus in a racist and Greek-specific manner. Care to comment on this Assingoloz?

Hhmm ... no response! :?

This is a warning to the next person who mistakes the CyProb section for a “get Oracle” section… that you’ll bite off more than you can chew!

I for one have had enough… stick to CyProb issues and take your irrelevant and repetitive crap elsewhere.

I second this!

Ineptitude in counter-arguments should be met with silence not the rubbish we have witnessed above from "Gassymamma" and "Assingoloz" . :D

Well, to paraphrase Mandy Rice Davies ...

You would - wouldn't you?

GR, the fact is that this does directly relate to the Cyprus Problem.
You have a frequent contributor in Oracle that says one thing to express a view then contradicts that view with cultural partisan input. If the consistency of the argument is weak then the argument itself is weakened. By alerting the forum to those inconsistencies we help underline the validity or lack there of of those arguments or the person making those arguments.

It's simple, this is not meant as a personal attack per se, we are helping police the dialogue such that quality arguments come to the surface which can help identify what needs real attention and what is simply madness.

I may not agree with many of the views of some on this forum such as yourself or Pirates etc., but at least you are consistent and demonstrate conviction to your point of view rather than compromise your argument to elevate anything Greek and depress anything Turkish - not so Oracle.
