But if you must compare the two situation, try comparing the respective leaders...In South Afrika they had Nelson mandela and Desmond Tutu...In Cyprus we had Makarios,Yordgadjis, and Papadopoulos....I rest my case...

Turkey has never defended its position based on people in the past expanding their territories

Oracle wrote:At least Alexander the Great initiated his empire from the necessity to halt the forays of the Persians.

Without going into empire building but the reason for action, could it not be an easy analogy to consider Turkey's move as necessary to halt the Greekification on Cyprus?

Where was your comment on observing equality in Mankind- no one is taking apart Alexander - it is your hypocritical rants that are being taken apart.

Perhaps you should stop commenting on this subject - it's not really showing you in the best light.

I accept your plea that there is no defence for Turkey's Expansionism. Good man!

Cyprus was always Greek territory. There are no parallels to the Persian excursions that Turkey can latch onto, even two and a half thousand years later!

Worried how ridiculous you sound?

Equality for Mankind will come when the Turks stop the Apartheid they have created, after ethnically cleansing half of Cyprus in a racist and Greek-specific manner. Care to comment on this Assingoloz?

Talking to a crazy person, what else should I have expected? Reading what she thinks is there but is quite clearly something else.

You are totally nuts - Peanut, Walnut, Chestnut, Butternut, Cashew, Pistachio, Macadamia, Almond, Brazil, Hazelnut, Pecan and Pine - totally nuts.

Go easy on her Acikgoz. She is very frustrated. Officially BRITISH, a foreigner herself living in a country where foreigners are to say the least 'frowned upon',but GREEK in her mind. Convinced Cyprus is Greek. Not even IN CYPRUS to see any up to date proof or waddever. Obviously unable to relocate to her beloved GREEK MUVVERLAND.

So ... up there on her mental Olympus with the Gods.

Yet, not so long ago, was saying that the only Greek influence in the RoC comes from their EU partnership...
And that Greek influence to the RoC is unavoidable / understandable due to their EU partnership ....

And that she adores cultural diversity and sees it as part of Man's uniqueness (not sure why Man has a capital M.

And that she would not deem to impart any dissolution or remove any records of contributions to this sphere.

And shedloads more of other contradictory, hypocritical and psychobabble rubbish!

Oh, I might have forgotten to mention that she is also convinced that:

The RoC with the help of EU, will remove all Turkish influence from Cyprus, once and for all ......

And

The EU has to take note and prepare to annihilate you from European soil

I'm not holding my breath while she waits for these things to happen. Though I have noticed she is no longer posting constantly proclaiming the GREATNESS of all things GREEK lol!

That's very unfair Gasman, play the white man. The Greeks are very good at being crap.

Ask Oracle she knows from her own personal experiences. She is the only Biologist I am aware of that believes in creatinism rather than Darwinism. How much more crap can one get?

I dunno! I have just asked my 'biologist' daughter and ... she is still laughing!

*I have three offspring (or 'understudies' as I like to call them to annoy them) two biologists and one chemist.

Well she can never really follow the progression of an argument....

It's just such nonsense, and though a few wiser fellows on this forum say - don't bother engaging the mad one - there are moments where the ridiculous is just toooo ridiculous that you feel obligated as a human being - even for her benefit to let her see why she may need help - to address it.

You had no right to unleash the power of the princess of darkness and her ideas on creationism on to your children. They may never recover from this exposure.
