So far, the only defence the Turks propose for continuing today's Expansionist and Apartheid policies is that some people, in the long distant past, expanded their territories --

Turkey has never defended its position based on people in the past expanding their territories

At least Alexander the Great initiated his empire from the necessity to halt the forays of the Persians.

Without going into empire building but the reason for action, could it not be an easy analogy to consider Turkey's move as necessary to halt the Greekification on Cyprus?

To top it all, the Turks manage to ignore Alexander's great speech about observing equality in Mankind.

Where was your comment on observing equality in Mankind- no one is taking apart Alexander - it is your hypocritical rants that are being taken apart.

Cyprus was always Greek territory. There are no parallels to the Persian excursions that Turkey can latch onto, even two and a half thousand years later!
