Something else POSITIVE...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Gasman » Mon May 17, 2010 12:34 am

I understood 'hellim' was 'halloumi' in the north?

Must say I think it was a bad move to rename Turkish Delight 'Cypriot Delight'. People want genuine Turkish Delight from Cyprus and it just makes it look as if it is not the same thing but an inferior alternative.

Mind you, it has helped those who sell 'Turkish' delight on eBay!

Why do you want to know. ?

Are you planning in asking me to join you for a family dinner or what.??

Maybe??

:? :? :?

But you said this to me just only a month ago as well as many times before that.?

What's changed.??

Do you know what the word maybe means?

Yeah, I know what maybe means.! It means, MAYBE.!!

Many of girls in the past have said maybe to me also also, if I drove halfway across the state to get to her, and in the end, all I got was just a lousy dinner.!

You can't even assure me of a lousy dinner with your family.!

But you are happy to invite that pervert DTA you your home for dinner with NO maybes about it..!

God knows what I'll end up with instead, for making such an effort to get to your house.!

Just think about it you are classed far worst than DTA...before you respond with a wise crack why not consider why I and many other see that way and you know how hospitable we Cypriots really are.

I never doubted the Cypriot Hospitality, but one needs to question why your sudden interest in whether I'm coming to the north or not, specially with your hostile reactions towards me in the past and as recently as ONLY a month ago.!

Perhaps if you start showing that Cypriot Hospitality Spirit here on the forum, I then MAYBE, would consider coming to the north and then MAYBE, I might get an invite for that family dinner.!

Forget it I was just interested to find if you had balls to come and see for real how TCs live in the TRNC and why we will never give it up without a better offer, obviously you dont have the balls nor do I want to allow you anywhere near my family or home. If you are a TCs you know we are only hospitable to people we trust to open our homes to not our enemies such as yourself.

Well, so much for your so called Cypriot Hospitality. But then again, you are not a Cypriot of any kind. You are nothing but a Englishman who is in the north as a Carpetbagger living off other Cypriots miseries. If you had any concerns for TCs in the north for a better life, economically and politically for them to become part of the western world civilization based on Democracy, Human Rights and International laws as well as EU Principles, then you would not insist on violating the above principles that would produce permanent partition so that you can have your Taksim.

As far as coming to the north to see how the TCs are living, you must mean on how the settlers are living, don't you.? They are after all outnumbering the TCs by 4:1 ratio. I know how the Turks live in Turkey since I take trips there now and then, therefore, no need to go and see how the Turks live in the north. But then again, you believe that the majority of the TCs are Racists, Fascists, Idiots and NeoPartitionists. Not exactly what I support, unlike you, so what would be the point in me coming to the north.??

At least YFred has a True Cypriot Hospitality. He offered me Makarina with Bulli, grated hellim and yogurt for dinner......................yogurt.!!! ??????:D

You only like to invite perverts to your home.!

Kiks, if you want to go on a suicide mission just get a gun and do it yourself. Why give these people the pleasure. You know that if you go in MAYBE you won't come out!!!!!!

Boy, that word "MAYBE" is everywhere at the moment.!

Kicks are you coming to London?

MAYBE.!

What's for dinner.?

Why is it all of a sudden, some people are very interested in my future travel plans.??

Makarina Bulli with Turkish Hellim grated all over it, with Greek Style yogurt.

How can you ask such a question? We are always interested in the travel plans of our loved ones. You know that. It's the Cypriot tradition and all that.

You got me confusedagain re Yfredo. What on earth is 'Turkish Hellim'. Cypriot or Turkish Cypriot may be but Turkish?

It was meant to confuse Kicks, but he is not as diligent as you when it comes to reading posts. He is just a Dillinger.

Hi Bir,

It is on our list of places to visit. We would like to put aside 4-6 weeks to make the trip, and when we do, you and few others from the forum will be first to know, as well as few friends I have living there.!
