Know a Turkish Cypriot girl that works in an accounting firm here, see many Tc's working in the mall of Cyprus.

Working in the Accounting firm as what? Toilet cleaner? I bet she is no accountant.

From the Orams case to the constant lobbying against holding anything in the north chocked of the green shoots that had formed.
As a result TCs again found opportunities were not as real to draw them in, the local kids look for further education abroad and the brain drain continues.
GC objective of suffocating TCs is getting rid of the quality TCs and their less opportune jobs are being taken up by immigrants from Turkey.
I thought all this was obvious but hey perhaps you spend more time looking to take a swipe than actually thinking about the posts.

Then why don't you tell me what those real opportunities were 2 years ago, that they are not there today in the north, or do you really believe, that TCs uprooted their lives from their adopted countries abroad and came to the "trnc" just on a promise or a hunch, that thing were better 4 years after the AP failed.!

In all honesty, the day the TCs in the north started seeing themselves as "Turks of Cyprus" as suppose to being Cypriots (Turkish Cypriots), is when the GCs in general stop worrying about the TCs as being Cypriots and a fellow countryman, specially when the Taksim dream is alive and well in the north. As long as the TCs do not want to help create a Democratic Cyprus as their future, than all those GCs from the past and present who may have wanted to get rid of the TCs from Cyprus, one way or another, will now sit back and watch the Turks do it for them, one TC at a time, and then, when the north becomes truly Turkish, in the GCs views, they will be seen nothing but Illegal Aliens and as occupiers of northern part of Cyprus without any need for them to ever have to share power with those living in the north, even if they were to remain in Cyprus for long time to come. This may or may not be better than the north remaining "TC", but as long as the TCs see themselves as "Turks of Cyprus", then so will the GCs, in which case, the TCs of today should not expect anything from the RoC that will make their lives any better by those living in the self declared country of the "trnc" on the territory of the RoC.

As far as the RoC's concern and all the UN resolutions, the north is occupied by Turkey, in which case, it is the sole responsibility of Turkey as an occupying force to take care of ALL the needs of all those living in the north, pure and simple. Unlucky for the north, Turkey is no economic super power, therefore, those living in the north should not expect to have life that is far better than what is offered to the Turks in Turkey. If the TCs want to become "Turks of Cyprus", then they will need to get used to living the life as a Turk, as what it is the life for the Turks in Turkey, or simple move to other parts of the world for a much better life and future, almost all of them in other Democratic countries and as a minority, but hopefully as equals citizens, once they manage to become citizens of their new adopted countries. The TCs will need to make a decision before it is too late, that would they rather become a minority in some foreign country, but a better opportunities than what the north has to offer, or become part of a Democratic Cyprus as equal citizens of the new RoC, despite being numerical minority. It is not too late for the TCs to take the latter of the two choices, but time is fast running out for them.!

The TCs have made that choice time and time again and as you well know its not the latter of the promised land being the GC south, surely the GCs must get the message TCs will only unite under a plan like AP which the GCs rejected so the chasm is clear for all to see. The majority of TCs would rather assimilate into Turkey than unite with GCs under a plan where they are forced into minority status without BBF and guarantees, its not that difficult to understand TCs can have whats on offer right now all they have to do is move south yet there is no enmass movement because the majority of TCs do not want to live under GC administration, Turkey is their first choice the GCs come in a poor second and only if under conditions as stated in the AP.

Why do you undervalue and underestimate the tc youth so much?

we dont its the gc mentality we dont trust they only think we are capable of doing menial jobs and it probably give them some sense to twisted satisfaction seeing tcs slave labour and the power of being able to sack them when they feel like it.

Get in line VP. I am waiting for the number of TCs employed at Professional level in roc either commuting from the north or residing in the south. No comment as yet. It rather depends on the mood our DT is and how many jugs he has consumed whether we'll get an answer or a load of verbal abuse. I wouldn't hold my breath for either.
