GREEK BANANIOT BUT GREEN

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I await the translation ...

8)

Well, it should become RoC policy that all those living in Cyprus should speak/read Greek -- like it is in the UK for English!

Oh here comes ole miseryguts! Sadly born without personality or humour.

Unfortunately for you Orifice it is not RoC policy and I couldn't give two shakes of a gnat's wotsit what you think.

Perhaps if the UK had ever been under GREEK Rule for hundreds of years, as Cyprus was under the Brits - we would all speak Greek as well as English.

I speak English, French, German and Latin. Oh, and am fluent in American too. Have no interest in learning to speak Greek at all.

In fact, I am a little amused that a CYPRUS Forum should have a Rule insisting that English is the only language you are allowed to post in!

You cheated Fredo. That was a machine translation...

Anyway the new thing in all that, is we (the GCs) should accept Turkey's proposal for an international conference (Participants:greece, turkey,GCs, TCs, EU.)because this is the last chance to solve the CP.

the only possible reason I can think of, is because it aims at attracting British housewifes who have nothing better to do. Can you think of any other reason??? :P :P

Hmm Pyrpo ...

I am British, but not a 'housewife'. So not fully qualified to answer!

Could be worse - I could be an embittered wannabee Greek consigned to the dour and chilly wastes of Scotland!

You would have been correct if I pretended I translated it, but I did not.
