Alls fair in politics

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Alls fair in politics

Postby Khan » Wed Jul 27, 2005 3:26 pm

Azerbaijan has sent two large delegations to TRNC and will soon begin direct flights. Whats interesting is that Greece has retaliated by allowing its largest telecommunications firm to open offices in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh and that South Cyprus has threatened to have direct flights there.

Nagorno-Karabakh for those unaware is where 800,000 Azeris were displaced when Armenia invaded it and still hold it today. So while South complains of their displaced people, its ok to support those displacing another people. Kind of belittles South's own cause.

not that we didn't have our suspicions, but just out of curiosity, how did you figure that out?

IP address?

back to the thread.

yup cant say i blame gc really, its all about picking up browny points. Both sides are playing the same game, applying whatever pressures they can to increase bargaining power and international support.

Just for the record moderators do not have access to users IP addresses they post from - only the admin has that. I knew that DigenisAkritas was the same person as Anti-British (or whatever the nick was) because they said so and I (we) have assumed that Digenis_Akritas is also the same person based on the user id being the same as the original one but with an underscore in the name and the fact that he refered to previous posts under this other username. So no great internet dective work really (which is pretty easy to stop tracing via an IP address and I suspect this user has already learnt such techniques for 'deception' on foums before this one)

so now back to the thread.
