limassol 'twin towers' approaching completion. 18 floors.

Most ambitious project, and tallest in the 'Hellenic' world (at the moment) in the past 35 years.
Take note the rubbish Commie block Greek style monstrosity on the left.

The Cypriots went full out and did the most Anti-Greek thing one can imagine in the architectural world.

1. The buildings exceed 8 floors.
2. Good space between buildings.
3. the space that was left available was utilized for greenery, swimming pool and tennis courts.
4. Modern design and materials.

And let me guess. They are also constructing a high rise parking garage (empty dirt lot) to accomodate ten cars????

Nice pictures, some big trees along the avenue would be good for the environment and people. Cleaner air.
