Semi sky scrapers right on the shoreline is a town planning disaster, one that lowers the value of all the buildings behind them that lose the ameinity of view and breeze from the sea.

This is huge for Limassol ok, a huge disaster.

Whatever happened to the planning regulations regarding land characteristics. But this is Cyprus, ola apagoreuonte aki ola epritremounte.

I'm of the impression that most of the Limassol coastline has already been tarnished by the existing 5/6 floor fuglies, basically a long row of hideous commie blocks, blocking out the rest of the city.
The buildings behind these fuglies have never had 'views' to the sea or scenery to begin with.
The new tall buildings(although they look sh** loads nicer' will only break up the monotonous drawl of the Lim coastline in certain places.

Funny, no one was complaining when the fuglies were being erected...
