Nicosia’s new 3x3 has done wonders for traffic especially on big GSP football nights.

Agreed that it mkes it a lot easier and has reduced the rrisk off accidents in the croweded times in the stretch oAlhambra North, and (in reverse) from/tor the Limassol and Larnaca routses merge/diverge but you are still squeezing that traffic into the same city streets and many people still do not know how to use it, sitting midlessly in the middle and outside lanes when they can quite feasibly pull over to the left lane....

yeah thats better - the twins, and I know that Junction well....taken from the foot bridge with the blue lights - not too far from my home.

Considering the size of the Job I think the contractors did an excellent task in upgrading the highway and with relatively little extra inconvenience for the motorist, and that all unavoidable due to the nature of the task.

this concept has been around for years - i can recall an item in 1970's discussing what were essentialy horse-shoe shapped structures with a central lagoon built in the shallow areas of eg the North Sea.

there are sections of the highway (tsirio) btw that are 3x3 but its irrelevant cause it doesn't need to.the traffic is not the worse in the island.in nicosia it is.
