The "Ham" in hamburger comes from the city of Hamburg rather than cured pig meat.

I posted when I read this was opening in the North, to make the point that the embargo did not seem to matter. And linked to their website where they state the places they cannot operate 'due to embargoes' there. I just wondered why the embargoes on the North didn't seem to matter.

Someone has pulled the wool over the Johnny Rocket Corporation with this one, since the location they have on their site, just says Cyprus and not "North Cyprus" as Halil's invitation states. The official site has a map of Cyprus with all the towns having Greek and Turkish names all over it, without any reference to the division or occupation of the north. I expect once an official complaint is lodged to the Johnny Rocket Corporation by the RoC (if they would even care to bother to do so), they will pull the franchise licence from whom ever has it.!

Halil better get all his hamburgers while he can.!

They will just change the name to 'Johnny's Pocket. Just like the other burger joints in the north. I have never seen burger joints run so badly as the one next to Lemar/Kerinia. Absolutely terrible.

here is trick to get $300 worth of meals from kfc...

in broadmedows, a suburb of melbourne, were there is quite a sizeble muslim community, walk into a kfc and order a zinger burger...now a zinger burger is advertised with bacon, but unfortunately in this suburb, there is no bacon...pay for the meal and keep the receipt...

the next day call kfc and complain you got cheated with false advertisements...they will ask for proof of purchase and they will send you 10 family vouchers worth $30 each in the mail...

what a scam...

I hope your kfc's are more hygienic than the ones in the uk. Only last week the one in Leicester Square was fines about £16,000 pounds for breaching hygien rules. The place was full of mouse droppings and cockroaches etc.
