Looks like they have a deathwish!

Much like the people who eat their "food"! :D

Johnny Rockets is a very cheap imitation of the original Mel's Drive-in Diner from the 50's which was featured in the movie "American Graffiti".

Thought that was Ed's Easy Diner?

Jonny Rockets is the cheap imitation of the cheap imitation of Mel's.

This picture of Mel's drive-in is the opening scene in the movie "American Graffiti". These days they are just called "Mel's Diner", since they are no longer "drive-ins". We have 3-4 of them in San Francisco.

We have one at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, for the out of town tourists, specially for those from the Midwest, which to them, Johnny Rockets would be some glorified McDonald's or something.!

Milpitas, huh. Not much there either.!

You do mean "corn dog" on a stick, don't you, or did you come to our China Town in SF for the real thing.?

(I'm just joking. We have no real dogs on a stick in SF)

We have discussed your love for clam chowder before. I like it also.

Boudins in SF has it in a bread bowl. The only time you can eat your "plate" and your food.!

San Jose is a "happening town". The weather is also much nicer than SF.

that is so true...the only way to have clam chowder...

i am not so sure about the us...i usually go there for business trips and if i finish early i am on the next plane back...or bum around venus beach either getting or enchansing my tattoos...

i just can't seemed to get motivated these days in going to the us...i need to go to new york for a meeting, they are even paying my expenses, but still can't seemed to get motivated...

as far as san jose, i prefer palo alto...it has a mediterranean feeling...i don't mind it...

Don't worry - meat content, hygiene regulations, employment law and all the rest will no doubt be up to EU standards. :)
