Perdijia is the favorite bird species, a quail type that runs on the ground but flies at will. Inexperience hunters would shoot at anything that flies, even sparrows. Of course, nothing is left from the sparrow if shot by a shotgun... but it's fun...

My nephew had the heavy gauge cartridges one day so when he shot a rabbit (twice) the only thing found was the ears!

Hunting is banned in Lurucina soil, so at least the wildlife is enjoying life. You can see loads of Berdijya (Keklik) running around in the fields. Strangely we don't see any rabbits. Where is CBBB when you need him?

Rabbits are afraid of TCs... took refuge in the free Cyprus... even rabbits don't like the occupation.

CBBB is in hiding, open season declared on him (by CF).

Remember it like yesterday.

My last flight with Olympic Airways

I should have stayed.

I'd be President by now.

Bloody trouble makers

Anna would have married me instead of Kyriakos.

Why are you asking me? I don't eat birds... but did I ask my nephew in Cyprus... he is a hunter....Mihali, which birds are edible?

He quickly replied... anything that flies is edible in Cyprus...

Yeah, these so called hunters use shotgun's to shoot birds that are smaller than Sparrows!!!! .....Hunters????

Please allow me to interject. For such small birds you use an airgun, not a shotgun. Now please carry on with discussion guys, it is mildly entertaining, in an airey/fairey sort of way.

Hahaha, ....there using shotguns my friend, you think i don't know the difference between the two?? These sparrow type birds are all that's left around here, they have killed everything else that flys or moves!!!!
