EU Country or 3rd world "savages"?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

sorry if you responded already to this, but exactly what is your pre-occupation with Cyprus?

lol! Only last week I was accused of being preoccupied with GREECE!

My 'interest' in Cyprus arises from the fact that I live here and have done so for some years, having visited Cyprus for many more years before that.

What is your seeming 'irritation' about anyone mentioning Cyprus breaking EU law all about?

They have been in the shit over biofuels and sugar profiteering too. They've had some years now to start stepping up to the plate regarding EU laws. They wanted into the club!

No worries at all, just curious. I have no problems wiht identifying issues that need to be corrected. I do it for the hypocrisy of the UK govt all the time and the flagrant breaches they commit on EU regulation.

I don't refer to them as savages though regardless of how many chav asbo kids pull a knife on me.

Whacking badgers on the head by the hundreds and setting hounds to tear foxes apart is definitely savage behavior for an EU country, and that’s not including Britain’s war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan so yes, you’ve definitely raised a good point…

I know I was reffering to VW.

I was seriously just curious about why you're so interested in Cyprus in the previous post.

A few years ago some guests at a hotel i was working in came in to report that they had been attacked. A car full of young boys had driven past and had thrown eggs at them and their children, the management was very hesitant about calling the police and told the guests that there was no need to report it. A year ago a young lady (tourist) in another hotel i worked in reported that a cypriot man attacked her and tried to rape her, the police came and took a statement and talking in greek they said they knew who he was and that they couldn't do anything. In yet another Hotel i have previously worked in a lady came to reception to report that the room service boy had come into her room and raped her. The management told her and her husband (who had been at the bar all night) that she was too drunk and that this could not have happened and sent away, although the next day the boy was fired. my point is that most cases are not reported, nor taken seriously by the local authorities. These are all very upper class hotels that i have worked in and the assistance given to tourists with problems is not helpful at all.

Nooooooooooo, not the roc justice system. How dare you say that? Clean your mouth with soap please.

Not that different to the sudanese girl who got attacked by 50 students and she got taken to police station and not the attackers.

Kindly stop Sniping.
