An apology for the "son of a whore" comment made to Tim by Piratis is in order here. Tim is one of the most loyal forumer here on the CF with very valuable contributions on many topics and I personally would not like to lose him, like when we lost "Devil" a while back, also based on not so kind comments made to him by others.!

I agree with you Kakapu. But I think we should keep the correct order here. Tim insulted me first without me saying even the slightest thing against him.

Anyway, after some further investigation it appears that Tim's mother is not a whore after all. I therefore take back what I said.

Piratis made the apology in the form of retracting his original statement to Tim. We can argue whether or not retraction of his original statement constitutes as an apology or not, but that's not what the recent subject has been about, has it.?? The recent subject has been on whether an apology/retraction of statement was made AND then retracted by Piratis. That's what we are talking about, isn't it, and as you can see from the timeline, there has been NO retraction of the apology/retraction of statement made to Tim, after it was made at this timeline of Fri May 14, 2010 8:50 am , that's all.!

a) took his original "statement of retraction" back, and

b) then refused to apologise to him afterwards

In another words, that Piratis took back his own retraction of his own "apology" in the form of retracting his own statement made to Tim.
