An apology for the "son of a whore" comment made to Tim by Piratis is in order here. Tim is one of the most loyal forumer here on the CF with very valuable contributions on many topics and I personally would not like to lose him, like when we lost "Devil" a while back, also based on not so kind comments made to him by others.!

I will defend anyone and stand with them, including Piratis, when they respect True Democracy, Human Rights, International Laws and the EU Principles to apply to all Cypriots where everyone is treated as an equal citizens of Cyprus. Piratis has always defended these principles. One can hardly blame him for wanting these basic Democratic values for his country, to apply equally to everyone and not want to see his country under occupation by foreign forces who are trying to create an apartheid system where the rights of the numerical majority Cypriots will be taken from them and given to the numerical minority Cypriots who have not yet abandoned their Taksim Dream.

We have seen what a undemocratic, Human Rights and Racists 1960 constitution has done to Cyprus. Wanting more of the same in the future by those who insists on such measures can only have bad intentions for Cyprus and it's citizens. This I cannot support.!

It is not Piratis' ideas and convictions which are in question here...It is his behaviour as a moderator of this forum...He does not have a luxury of calling anybody "son of a whore" as long as he is in that position...He should resign immediately and then he can do whatever his moral decency or indecency dictates...

Anyway, after some further investigation it appears that Tim's mother is not a whore after all. I therefore take back what I said.

I am not a moderator in this section. Here I am just a member like everybody else. If I was a moderator then I could have banned Tim and you for insulting me, delete your posts and I wouldn't have to bother responding to you.

Verbal insults, name callings and accusations to individual forum members are all fair play, since nothing comes out of thin air for such things to be said, but there needs to be a fine line drawn here, that one cannot go after the family members directly or indirectly to be insulted as a means to insult a forum member. That was my only request for Piratis to make the apology for, which he did in his own way. Other than that, I support anyone in defending or making their arguments in anyway they feel they need to, and if insults are thrown back and forth, then all I can say to everyone is, "if you can't handle the heat, then get out of the kitchen"....I mean, Cyprus Forum.!
