Russia and Turkey agreed on nuclear plant !

Postby halil » Mon May 10, 2010 4:35 pm

Russia and Turkey have shaken hands on all the details and commercial terms for the construction of Turkey’s first nuclear power plant in Mersin’s Akkuyu district, Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko has announced.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will be paying an official visit to Turkey on May 11 and 12, and the signing of the relevant agreement is included on the president’s agenda. Russia will undertake construction of the power plant and will also be responsible for all financing needs.

Turkey is building a nuclear power plant right on top of Cyprus and the idiot TCs are happy about it

Now tell me, in a "United Cyprus" of Annan plan, would Cyprus even be able to complain about such actions taken by Turkey, or would, as always, the TCs refuse to allow Cyprus to do this, since as always they put the interests of Turkey higher ... even from our own health?

Don't worry pirati, they will surely piss off the Americans and the whole scenario will begin to change.

Remember when the US thought Cyprus might swing in Russias direction, what they did, well, I can see the kurds getting their own state too, soon.

Further, how can anyone even complain about Iran?? Ha HA they have really fucked up the yanks plan now a???

Way to go Turkey, I am beginning to like you

Obviously Russia's past "achievements" with Chernobyl were a good negotiating point

Who would trust the Russians with Nuclear Power except the desperate Turks?

It's the blind leading the blind.

Gawd help us all.

Greenpeace might have something to say about this ....

It should be the right of any nation to have peaceful nuclear program and should naver be used as a weapon against any country or people. We should get the positive benefits of nuclear energy to serve humanity.

I hope that Turkey will never use it against any country as a weapon.

Greenpeace should force USA and Israel to give up their nuclear program before they stop Turkey, USA is country who had used and killed 100’s of thousands people In Japan and have the most number of nuclear weapons. Israel is another who has killed thousands of Innocent people and threatens other countries

I will support peaceful nuclear energy without a single nuclear weapon in the world
