I have a trusty old banger that registers 235,000km and still works fine. Don’t use it often but its great for fetching gardening and building materials etc. :)

I once carried 12-14 cement bags in the boot that the tires were sometimes scraping on the body on the way home!

Being a very Common Man, have two Cars of the People Ford Mondeos. Both 1.8 Turbo Diesels. One's a newish MK4 but the other one is a MK1 we bought new in 1994 so it's nearly 18 years old and we've done 210,000 kms on it. Changed the power steering belt earlier today and gave it another waxing... paintwork is almost as good as the day we drove it out of the showroom.

I reckon if it passes the cement bag test it's definitely worth keeping!

Oh but it does, up to a point... had bags of cement and sand in it loads of times... but always spread the load, some in the boot, some on the back seat and some on the passenger seat.

I once carried 12-14 cement bags in it's back side that the knees were sometimes scraping on the body on the way home!

Hurry up Yialoser, go post a few more of those informative articles you get on the GreekDefense forum like…

“Confirmed: Hitler hiding in a Greek bunker!”

“Greek eagles caught feeding on Turkish sparrows!”

“Pitsos whitegoods releases fighter jet to counter Raptor!”

“Kolokotronis’ penis found preserved in vinegar!”

…and many more exciting stories for mainstream Hellenes! 8)
