CUBA vs TRNC - A comparison

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

No, I am a GC... many GCs say "my fellow TCs.."

No they don't.

why does it matter so much to you?

Don't flatter yourself.

So are you a TC then, Georgios100 ?

No, he is a fully-fledged Turk with an agenda to make the "trnc" appear mainstream, for example, akin to a sovereign country like Cuba!

This explains a lot.

As fascinating as comparing a bicycle with a combine harvester… 8)

Let’s see now, they both have…

1. Wheels.
2. A steering mechanism.
3. A driver.
4. Motion when driven.
5. Rotating parts.

Comparisons are ever so insightful!

That was certainly an answer, and it speaks volumes.
You would be taken more seriously if you don't run away like that, not that it really matters.

Georgios is a GC.

You would say my fellow TCs as a figure of speech, and the comparison GR gave is irrelevent, the bottom line is, it may compare to a bike, but you cannot harvest a field with a bike.

Thats the point Georgios was making.

The TCs think they can survive with what they have 'won' as george put it, but in actual fact, they can't.

Good post George.

Thanks B25,

The comparison has nothing to do with bikes VS combines... but rather the illegal acquisition of lands (TRNC) and the results of embargoes/non-recognition subsequently suffered.

One may use North Korea or other similar states in lieu of Cuba to compare.

The results are the same. It's the people that suffer, not their leaders.

IN THIS DAY AND AGE, NO SUCH STATE CAN SURVIVE WITHOUT LIGITIMACY OF EXISTENCE, DULLY RECOGNIZED BY ALL STATES OF THE WORLD.

Let there be no doubt. TRNC cannot survive as is. There can only be degrees of losing if a lawful solution is not found.

georgios100, if you are a GC, then we have some protocol which you should learn to follow at all times!

When referring to the "trnc" then please ensure that you use quotation marks. You can also go a step further by referring to the "trnc" in lower case rather than capital letters!

Thanks in advance.

...good post mr. G, food for thought.

ironically, the north of Cyprus is the most fruitful, agriculturally, and it was the powerhouse of our economy with what industry and manufacturing that was there.

...i like Cuba too, it is a very socialised country, with better education and medical care than almost all countries in the world.
