i am marilie balasabas.. my mother is marissa balasabas.. i am looking for my father who lived in this country.. cyprus... i was born on dec 24 1987. my name that my father knew was 'Maria Lea Constantina" he wrote a letter to my mom a long time ago..before i was born... but my mom recieved the letter w/o the address of my father.. so she did not wrote back.. and my mother moved here in davao.. that was the last tym she heard from my father. his name was COSTAS Batsangon?? hope you can help me..

Hi Marilie, welscome to the forum. Can your mother say what town he is from as this would help a lot. Also are you sure about the surname? Could it be Matsangos? Good luck finding him.

1. were you born in Cyprus
2. did your father leave to work in Cyprus
3. is he Cypriot, Costas is cypriot name, not the surname.
4. does he want to be found
5. last known town.
6. any trade you know of, ie job skills

“Batsangon” is definitely not Cypriot. But Matsangos like my mate says, does exist in Greece but not Cyprus.

It could also be spelt as… “Kostas Matsangos”

i have a picture of him with my mother.. in a card that indicates "NICOSIA NIGHTS CYPRUS" i was born in manila.. he would call my mother asawa ko. he named me "Maria lea constantina" because he said that every girl in cyprus was named MARIA.. he wrote a letter but no address..in his letter he told my mother he put 50$ in it..but no dollar. it was Costas batsangon or matsangon.. but it was Costas.... my mother didnt talk about him much... he knows he have a daughter here in the philippines.....
