Piratis, I know what a straw man fallacy is without that internet link. You provide hundreds of examples of such fallacies, including in this last reply.
What I support is no "lynch-mob 'justice'" this is the kind of "justice" you applied in your "peace operation".
Piratis, I've never advocated lynch mob justice and it wasn't my 'peace operation', it was an invasion.
What I support is that those who have committed the crime of treason should be taken to courts and if found guilty of this heinous crime should be given the death penalty.
Piratis, I am fundamentally and unequivocally opposed to the death penalty. (It is rather odd that as a self-styled defender of human rights you support the death penalty, not least because it is prohibited by the ECHR protocol of which even Turkey is a signatory)
And I do not wonder why the TCs refuse us. I know very well why they do it. It is the same reason they do it since the very first time they set their foot on our island: To have gains on the expense of the local population by being the people loyal to the invader.
Piratis, no : you just don't get it. (1) TCs are Cypriots. They're not guests, they're not visitors, they're not settlers - they are natives of Cyprus, they are Cypriots. (2) They have suffered a history of discrimination and a suspension of constitutional rights and protection since the early 1960s. (3) For reasons good or bad, Turkey intervened under the guise of protection of TCs. (4) Since 1974 TCs have not been subject to attack from GCs. We might argue over the details, we might argue over the legitimacy of any of these steps, and we might argue over the relative weight of these facts, BUT I can see no reason why TCs should find the kinds of views you post as anything but frightening.
