Bravo re Bananiot!! Now what are we gonna do with 37% of our land turkified and 200,000 refugees?

You are a clever boy, why don't you tell us the plan of how you are going to get it back?

Through serious negotiation between the President and whoever Turkey picks as its proxy here in Cyprus within the occupation regime.

And will you be insisting ,as usual, on your maximalist demands during these 'serious negotiations' DT??? And then expect your president to cry on TV and urge you to vote OHI....??? And then blame the other side and vow to wait till the balance of power changes to get it all back...??? :)

...maybe it had to do with the changes at the last minute, guaranteeing its appearance as a sullied document.

...not crocodile tears if they knew what was right, and that only in history long after their deaths would it be proved.

...Talat caved in to the interlocutors demands, he could have delayed the referendum, he too should have accepted that its result would not help their cause as Cypriots.

...i didn't like the Annan plan because it is unclear, have you read it?

I was responding to the following:

Isn't Mikiko Bananiots actual name anyway????
I think they are one and the same, a double act.

Which was written by the other foul mouth of the forum, B25 and was duly endorsed by boomerang. Thus, I apologise for confusing the two baggers who are obviously not "one and the same".

The fact that boomerang now swears in Greek, I suppose it is okay with the administrator.

Much better to not have Apartheid in 63% than to lose control and have Apartheid on the entire island!

Pure common sense for all those that do not have hidden imperialistic agendas serving the interests of every other country apart from the RoC!

If you could only realise how pathetic and irrational your arguments with Bananiot are...It would be funny if you were not gifting 37% of Cyprus to Turkey on a plate... :(

Nothing irrational for wanting Australia's Democracy and constitution transplanted into the RoC.

If that is unachievable, then partition is the only plausible 'solution', but until then, we will maintain the Status Quo indefinitely!

Democracy and Human Rights are NOT irrational or pathetic arguments! Trading them for all the land in the world is something no one will do in their right mind. Without democracy and Human Rights you have nothing, and your children have nothing! Cypriots know this only too well.

Not in detail,RW....I read the main points and a lot of commentary from the TC newspapers....Anyway it is dead and buried now...I am looking forward to the next plan, and I have a feeling we won't have to wait too long before it appears....

I reckon you will be waiting a very, very, very, very long time. And if it is anything like the Annan Plan, then you can just forget it!

Paphidi...When will you see the writing on the wall???Cyprus is not Australia...Cypriots do not trust each other...They had 3 years to jointly run the country and they totally stuffed it up...Then there was apartheid for 11 years during which the bitterness and mistrust were multiplied...Then there was the little Sampson coup and the resulting Turkish invasion....You can't pretend these events didn't take place...Keeping your head in the sand and talking about democracy and human rights might make you feel morally superior, but it will do nothing to solve the problem practically...Notice how I did not apportion any blame...I just gave you the facts...In the end it matters little who was guilty for how much or for how long...We need to deal with the past and agree to a practical and realistic solution...Anything else is like pissing against the wind...

Some would say Cypriots (of all kinds) are the most stupid people in the whole world...Look at the mess they allowed their country to get in... :(

... i don't agree bir, Cypriots can work and live together, but on the Federal level the bias of any Community must be balanced as a countervailing power, so that in its defence of our Basic Rights as Individuals our unity is based on the Equality of all people.

...what we do Internally as Cypriots can be through National Assemblies whose Jurisdiction is to provide their electorate the service they require as majorities who respect the rights of the minorities living amongst them.

...please read my manifesto.
