The Turkish community in Cyprus, by definition, comprises all of its members. If that community bears a collective guilt, then it follows that each member of that community, and simply by virtue of being a member of that community, bears an automatic, individual guilt for the Ottoman invasion of Cyprus. Logically, each Turkish Cypriot is guilty the moment they are born. This is a racist ideology. That is how it works in my mind. If I am stupid, so be it.
I am sorry if you think that I have insulted you and if you could tell me what I have said to insult you, I will apologise.
Tim sorry but don't the TCs and Turkey applied that collective guilt theory to the GCs for the actions of the few? Don't they still do it even in this forum by saying you killed us you attacked us etc. Don't GCs do it as well?
So why accuse Piratis only when everybody does it?
Racist might be, but hey we live in a racist world let's admit it
Very true. Let everyone move away from this facile mode of thinking and concentrate instead on how some kind of just and lasting settlement can be achieved.
