What a farce.

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

What a farce.

All parties spend weeks before election day traipsing round encourage EVERYONE to vote and then, on the day, they cannot cope with the numbers because 'they didn't expect so many' to turn out? From my experience, those most likely to go down in the evenings and vote are WORKING TAXPAYERS who cannot get there earlier in the day. They need to scrap the archaic voting rigmarole and bring it into the 21st century. They need to scrap the archaic voting rigmarole and bring it into the 21st century. And what a crappy result for the UK elections too.

I totally agree with you - Clegg has just supported the Tories.

I can't find a definitive quote for that. However I did find this:
BNP says Nick Clegg's support of Tories shows that "you can never trust a foreigner"

Ah well, some things never change!

Got it on the gogglebox now on ERT so will catch up before I go out on my next jet-set adventure - to the vet.

He actually said he would keep to his word and support the party with the highest vote...

Cameron will make a speech at 2:30....

Gorgon might even resign today but who knows... there is still time to put together a Lib/Lab pact....

Agreed, but I have been using the postal voting system just because of this. Cant they be bothered. And ofcourse the people who stay home, the work shy and the rest vote labour and what do we get - this farce. They are the ones who benefit at the taxpayers expense.

Of course it is possible for Brown to insist on hanging in there with a minority govt?

Not likely. Just seen Clegg saying he thinks the Tories should form a government.

He is a politician tho...

Plenty of time for trading behind the scenes and a deal with Labour... A Lib/Lab pact would be the least worst option in my opinion - they'd all be down the toilet within a year...

More likely tho is that Gorgon will resign and Cameron will form a government....

I read that more UK voters were glued to telly watching riots in Greece than were watching the election unfold.

They could of course call another general election (they've done it in the past) but I should think the cost of it alone would be enough to put them off.
