Different branches of christianity also do things differently.

Again, if you poor people had been taught your religion in school, you would know all this.

In the early Christian faith under Roman persecution, the faithfull used the symbol of the fish, as the cross would have been understood by the Romans. It was relevant as Christ was a fisher of men. Later the cross became the Christian symbol

Believe it or not, you have made a very good point. As hollywood is run by the Jews, they usually portray prostitutes, etc. wearing crosses. Same with the porn industry.

The cross ( along with most christian symbols) is merely a usurped version of much earlier "totems" -

The Swastika
The coptic\egyptian Ankh

to name a few

you can throw in madonna and child images, easter , christmas and others to those events also "adopted" from paganism or previous established religion

It was also relevant as an acronym of "Jesus Christ God's Son, Saviour".

As Orthodox Christians, are we not required to wear our baptismal crosses at all times? I thought that this was not ever questioned.

<Banal Post of the Year Award!> You are seriously suggesting that Jewish film directors get porn stars/prostitutes to put on Crosses to defile the Christian religion?????

Next we will have Yialoser suggesting Steven Spielberg invented 'Jaws' to kill all those nice Christian swimmers; maybe Islandic Ash is a Zionist conspiricy, too?

Always seemed a bit gruesome to me - to have a trinket depicting a form of capital punishment. Just as well they were not using the gas chamber or the electric chair then or even the gallows - it wouldn't look half so stylish.
