WORK TO FORM TRNC NEGOTIATING TEAM CONTINUES

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

WORK TO FORM TRNC NEGOTIATING TEAM CONTINUES

Postby halil » Wed May 05, 2010 12:28 pm

As the Turkish Side intensifies its efforts to assemble its negotiating team, the TRNC Foreign Ministry is taking on an important role in the formation of this team. Acting Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Huseyin Ozgurgun has announced that the TRNC’s New York Representative Kemal Gokeri has been assigned to the new negotiating team.

Speaking on a program on BRT 1 last night, Ozgurgun underlined the need to carefully assess the principles of single sovereignty and single citizenship, which he said, the people opposed.

“The two peoples in Cyprus must first demonstrate a common will to live together before opting for single citizenship and sovereignty” he said.

Pointing out that it will be easier to reach a solution should both sides approach the talks in good will, Ozgurgun said that the Turkish Side’s ultimate goal was to reach a settlement.

“Our intention is to reach a lasting settlement, one that protects our interests. This is what the people voted for” he added.

Asked about the Turkish Side’s sensitivities, the Minister said that the issue of single sovereignty and single citizenship needs to be carefully evaluated.

He underlined the importance of reaching a settlement that recognizes the Turkish Cypriot People’s sovereignty as well as the reality that there are two separate peoples on the island, something he said, watered down by the proposal on cross voting.

I am sorry Halil, this has got to be the biggest joke of the centuary.

First you illeagly import the settlers. Then the Settlers are the ones with the voting voice, and now you say recognises the TCs??? And if that wasn't enough he goes onto say the 'TCs sovereignty'??? FFS, what sovereignty would that be and where are the TCs??

You guys are full of it, I just can't help myself, I said I was going to stay off this subject because you guys have made my so bitter, but when propoganda shit like this is plastered all over it needs a response to show how pathetic you guys actually are.

Do you then wonder why we have no solution??? it is pretty damn obvious don't you think??

May god give me strength.

There can ONLY be a lasting settlement solution in Cyprus when the TCs Taksim Dream has become extinguished, just as GCs Enosis Dream has been extinguished and that the solution settlement is based on True Democracy, Human Rights, International Laws and the EU Principles.

What the above is stating in a very clear language, is that the TCs Taksim Dream is alive and well.!

Not one point! not one argument of what President Christofias could have done more that Talat had shown the way on.

Not one bloody argument against the fact that the President made the BIGGEST concessions EVER and received a BIG FAT ZERO from TALAT. (sorry in exchange for rotating presidency and 50k settlers talat offered citizenship for 70million Turks and split FIRs.)

f***ing idiot, wasted enough time in this negotiation I'm glad he's gone.
