If you look at the chapters on which there was some progress during Talat, ALL of them concern issues on which the GC side had something to offer.

On chapters that the Turkish side was supposed to have something to offer (e.g % land to be returned, matter of properties) there has been deadlock from the very first round.

Turkey carried on the game like that gaining on whatever the GCs could offer, without herself giving ANYTHING, until the time was up. Imo even if Talat was be re-elected, the negotiations would collapse in no more than 6 months.
Simply because there was absolutely no agreement or hot issues that consitute the CP.

With Erogly of course even that tiny progress will evaporate soon, so guys keep walking
