is there a FREE Wi-Fi area in Peyia?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

isn't Peyia in the Low Lands?

we are just below Peyia Village

we where advised by someone who owns an apartment in Peyia to look at Peyia as a place to stay...they also have breathing/asthma issues ...... to go slightly uphill from the coast.......to miss the sea frets that can happen and to miss the sand being blown about in the winter

which is why we have gone slightly uphill.....

we did look at Pissouri.......and Tala......both seem to be beautiful areas

but in the end...we chose Peyia because of the amenities that are with the apartment complex that we have chosen

we where told that Pissouri......which is uphill is also in the "lowlands" .so we presumed being near to the coast that Peyia was also in the "lowlands"

we are buying "blind" here

with no local knowledge at all

are we wrong?

cheers

Well then, don't you consider hacking their wireless and having it for free?

I wouldn't accept my neighbour sharing my internet even if he paid all of it :)

Hi Migmogs,

Two ways to go, CYTA landline (€150 deposit + about €50 per month for 1MB) or Wide area wireless. We do a short-term rental for €120 install plus a €256 deposit on the equipment - which is returned when we collect the equipment. 1Mb connection is €25 per month or 2MB for €42.75.

There is also www.cypruswirelessinternet.com but not sure that do a short-term option.

There are many free wifi hotspots around, some have been mentioned, in Coral Bay - The Frog & Toad, Blazing Saddles and Coral Sunset are all licensed by us for free use.
